Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI DUAL Camera screen replacement

We replace a broken screen on a Xiaomi Note 5 AI Dual Camera.
The process is simple but time consuming and can be done at home with a screwdriver, a guitar pick and a hair dryer.

After the removal , everything needs to be cleaned thoroughly and patiently with isopropyl alcohol, before the new screen is permanently glued to the body.

Recommended glue is B-7000 or T-7000.

It's not a bad idea to also replace the thermal paste while you're at it.

The battery stays in place perfectly and does not necessarily need double sided tape. But if you apply any, make sure it's thin and of the kind that un-sticks when you pull it, in case you need to remove it again. Otherwise you're at a high risk of bending or even damaging the battery.
